Infant Incubator
An incubator is an apparatus used to maintain environmental conditions suitable for a neonate (newborn baby). It is used in preterm births or for some ill full-term babies.
These devices provide a closed, controlled environment that warms an infant by circulating heated air over the skin. The heat is then absorbed into the body by tissue conduction and blood convection.
